ECLIPS and ARENA held a Container Roll-Out Solar System (CROSS) demonstration day in Canberra, Australia on 12 April 2018.
The CROSS is a factory assembled, relocatable ground-mount solar power array that can be securely stacked seven high and rolled into and out of standard ISO shipping containers. The CROSS20 has an output of almost 2.2 kW and the CROSS40 produces over 4.3 kW. This enables over 30 kW to be delivered per 40 ft shipping container. CROSS is a modular solution suitable for projects up to utility scale.
This ongoing contract requires ECLIPS (formerly Sea Box International) to design and build 2157 ISO 1C flatracks in accordance with the DMO specification for the Australian Defence Force’s Land 121 Phase 3B project. The contract also includes cargo gate kits.
ECLIPS (formerly Sea Box International) designed and built eight attachment frames and canvas cover kits to carry Grove 80T Crane CES equipment to suit ISO 1C flatracks as developed for the Land 121 Phase 3B contract. The contract also included supply of eight ISO 1C flatracks. The attachment frames and canvas cover kits are designed to fit the ISO 1C flatracks without modification.
Built for the Australian Army, the Townsville Field Training Area Urban Operations Training Facility is a large installation of the ECLIPS (formerly Sea Box International) Reconfigurable Urban Operations Training System (RUOTS).
This facility has over 150 containers and creates a realistic urban environment for training soldiers. The buildings include realistic representations of:
- Markets
- Multi-story buildings
- Roofs and balconies
- Houses
- Power stations
- Medical centres.
ECLIPS (formerly Sea Box International) designed the Containerised Diesel Generator Modules specifically to meet the training requirements of the Royal Australian Navy. Within a standard 20 ft ISO shipping container, each transportable training module features:
- Self-contained Cummins C110 D5 diesel generator set with bunded floor
- Sephco LSOV125 load bank
- Overhead gantry rail and hoist
- Two double-opening container doors and three personnel doors
- Steel workbench and lighting
- Power, ventilation and fire suppression systems.
This observation post was created as an addition to the Australian Federal Police (AFP) Method of Entry Unit training modules project. It’s a simple, two-storey observation post with an internal staircase. These products are ideal for training and for actual observation work.
The containers come ready for assembly, vastly reducing the on-site construction requirements of a conventionally built structure. This makes deployment to difficult areas much easier.
Demonstrating the versatility and practicality of shipping container buildings, this containerised meeting room comprises of two modified shipping containers and comes complete with kitchenette and electrical and plumbing services pre-installed. ECLIPS (formerly Sea Box International) specialises in customised container buildings; the home or office design is limited only by your imagination.
ECLIPS (formerly Sea Box International) designed and built a trials laboratory for the Defence, Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO). We delivered the lab fully furnished, wired and ready to run. The laboratory is a double roll-out expandable container: when closed it takes up the same footprint as a regular ISO shipping container but when expanded the floor area is increased by 193 percent.
The ECLIPS (formerly Sea Box International) Dive Tank was developed for the Australian Defence Force for Special Forces training and provides a fully functioning containerised scuba diving training tank. The unit is fully transportable once emptied and can be easily relocated as required.
ECLIPS (formerly Sea Box International) delivered a transportable camp including accommodation, office/kitchenette, office/storeroom and ablutions modules to Cubic for the Australian Army.
