Wodgina Modular Kitchen

ECLIPS (formerly Sea Box International) designed and delivered a 620 square metre modular kitchen for Atlas Iron’s Wodgina mine site, located in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. This complex project involved connecting the new kitchen to the existing cyclone shelter-rated kitchen/dining facility, commissioning the new kitchen and a temporary dining facility, refurbishing the existing building into a large dining area, decommissioning the temporary dining facility and final connection/commissioning of the refurbished dining area.

Featuring an enormous mess hall, a two module fully equipped 12 metre wide kitchen, two buffet rooms and six cool rooms, the new kitchen/dining facility has the capacity to cater for 480 people. This was all successfully achieved within budget and on schedule while maintaining an operational kitchen/dining facility on the active mine site!
